Pros

  • Engraving at Scale: More than 2,000 bottles in the engraving collection can be personalized for a flat $50 a bottle, and engraved orders are processed within 10 business days before they ship.
  • Big Names and Exclusives: Bottles run from Rombauer Zinfandel at $36.83 and Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut at $58.99 to Don Julio 1942 at $139.99, plus single-barrel exclusives and limited Last Call releases.
  • Licensed, Lawful Delivery: Every order is fulfilled by a licensed retailer in ReserveBar's network, an adult 21 or older must sign for it, and same-day delivery from local stores is offered in some markets.

Cons

  • ReserveBar's customer record is weak, with a Trustpilot TrustScore of 1.7 from 1,244 reviews, 28% of them one-star and many about late or missing orders, so order gifts early, ship to an office where an adult can sign and report any damage within 72 hours.
  • Delivery covers the United States only, and not every state, PO box or military base, while all orders are final sale, so enter the recipient's address before you shop to see which bottles can reach them; shoppers in Canada, Australia and the UK cannot order.

The Verdict

What sets ReserveBar apart is that it turns premium spirits into ready-made gifts, with custom engraving on thousands of bottles, while staying inside US alcohol law: ReserveBar began in 2013, when its founders could not find a website for sending premium vodka to a friend across the country, and it now sells spirits, wine and Champagne through a network of licensed retailers. That structure matters: under the three-tier system only licensed retailers may sell alcohol to the public, so each order is accepted and shipped by a store in ReserveBar's network, title passes to the buyer at that store, and an adult 21 or older must sign for every delivery. The Connecticut company agreed in 2021 to acquire Minibar Delivery, a same-day marketplace. Its engraving collection lists more than 2,000 bottles that can be personalized for a flat $50 each, and exclusives include single-barrel picks and a Last Call series of limited releases. Prices follow the retailers' listings. On 1 November 2026, Rombauer Zinfandel cost $36.83, Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon $52.99, Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut $58.99 and Don Julio 1942 Añejo $139.99, and the Last Call release of Jack Daniel's Heritage Toasted Single Barrel was $44.99 against a stated $59.99 retail, with free shipping on two or more bottles. ReserveBar's help center lists a flat $9.99 shipping fee and a $5.99 service fee per order, and each retailer that fills part of an order charges separately. Most orders ship by ground in 1 to 2 business days, while engraved bottles take up to 10 business days to process and ship by ground only. The reservations are service and reach. Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 1.7 from 1,244 reviews, with 28% at one star and no replies to negative reviews, and complaints center on late, missing and cancelled orders. Every sale is final, and wrong, damaged or spoiled items must be reported with photos within 72 hours. ReserveBar ships only within the US, and not to every state, PO boxes or military bases. Enter the recipient's address first, ship to a workplace where an adult can sign, and order engraved gifts weeks ahead.

Premium Spirits, Wine and Champagne With Custom Engraving, Shipped by Licensed US Retailers

ReserveBar has sold premium spirits, wine and Champagne online since 2013 and agreed in 2021 to acquire Minibar Delivery, a same-day delivery marketplace it now lists as a sister site; reports at the time placed its headquarters in Ridgefield, Connecticut. It does not sell alcohol itself: under the three-tier system, every order is accepted and shipped by a licensed retailer in its network, and its Terms say title passes to the buyer at that store. Customer support is at 855-443-8144 and [email protected], and a Concierge team handles corporate gifting.

Prices are set by the fulfilling retailers. On 1 November 2026, Rombauer Zinfandel cost $36.83, Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon $52.99, Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut $58.99, Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial $69.99 and Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila $139.99, while the engraving collection ran from Deadwood Bourbon at $26.99 to The Dalmore Luminary No. 2 at $349.99. The Last Call release of Jack Daniel's Heritage Toasted Single Barrel was $44.99 against a stated $59.99 retail, and custom engraving adds $50 a bottle.

ReserveBar's help center lists a flat $9.99 shipping fee and a $5.99 service fee per shipped order, with same-day delivery fees and minimums set by local retailers, and an order filled by several retailers is charged separately for each. Most orders ship by ground in 1 to 2 business days, engraved bottles take up to 10 business days to process and cannot be expedited, and every delivery needs a signature from an adult 21 or older, so a business address is recommended. ReserveBar ships only within the United States, not to every state, PO boxes or military bases, so shoppers in Canada, Australia and the UK cannot order.

All orders are final sale. Wrong, damaged, broken, leaking or spoiled items must be reported within 72 hours of delivery with photos, and the retailer sends a replacement, or a refund or substitute when stock runs out; approved refunds take 3 to 5 business days, and refused or returned-to-sender packages lose their shipping fee. Ground orders can be cancelled within an hour of ordering, after which cancellation is not guaranteed. The independent record is poor: Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 1.7 from 1,244 reviews, 28% of them one-star, with no replies to negative reviews and complaints about late, missing and cancelled orders.

Buyer's guide

ReserveBar: what to know before you buy

ReserveBar sells spirits, wine and Champagne through licensed US retailers, with custom engraving and gifting. Here is how fees, delivery, age checks and returns work, and how to choose a bottle.

Shipping, returns & warranty

ReserveBar ships only within the United States, through licensed retailers in its network. Its retailers cover most of the country, but some states cannot receive alcohol shipments, and it cannot ship to PO boxes or military bases. Enter the delivery address on reservebar.com before you shop to see which bottles can reach it.

The help center lists a flat $9.99 shipping fee and a $5.99 service fee per shipped order; same-day delivery fees and minimums are set by local retailers. Most orders ship by ground in 1 to 2 business days, engraved bottles take up to 10 business days to process, and every delivery needs a signature from an adult 21 or older, so a work address is the safer choice. ReserveBar had not posted its 2026 holiday cut-offs on 1 November, so order engraved gifts by late November.

All orders are final sale and carry no warranty. Report a wrong, damaged, broken, leaking or spoiled item with photos within 72 hours of delivery for a replacement, or a refund or substitute if stock runs out; refunds take 3 to 5 business days. Ground orders can be cancelled within an hour of ordering. Refused or returned-to-sender packages lose their shipping fee, and lost packages must be reported within 30 days of the shipping confirmation.

ReserveBar product lines

Spirits make up most of the range: bourbon and other whiskeys, tequila and mezcal, gin, vodka, rum, cognac and scotch, from everyday bottles such as Deadwood Bourbon at $26.99 to rare releases such as a 39-year-old Aberfeldy single malt at $4,249.99.

Wine and Champagne include names such as Rombauer, The Prisoner, Silver Oak and Moët & Chandon, with Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut at $58.99 on 1 November 2026.

ReserveBar also sells gift sets, barware and glassware, ready-to-drink cocktails, pre-orders of limited editions, its own single-barrel exclusives and Last Call, a series of limited releases at reduced prices. A Concierge team handles corporate gift orders, including bulk engraved bottles.

How to choose an engraved gift

Start with the recipient's address: enter it first, because only bottles that a retailer can ship to that state will show as available, and engraving is offered only on eligible bottles.

Keep the message simple. ReserveBar cannot engrave emojis, accents or foreign characters, some brands do not allow profanity, and the message cannot be edited once the order is placed, so check the spelling before you pay.

Engraving costs a flat $50 a bottle, so it adds the most value to a bottle the recipient will keep on display. Allow up to 10 business days for engraving plus ground transit, and send the order to a workplace where an adult 21 or older can sign.

Deals & pricing

Prices are set by the retailers that fill each order, so the same bottle can cost different amounts in different states. ReserveBar's Last Call series sells limited releases below the stated retail price, such as Jack Daniel's Heritage Toasted Single Barrel at $44.99 against $59.99 on 1 November 2026, with free shipping on two or more bottles.

One promotional code can be used per order. We found no standing public code, so we list none. Remember the $9.99 shipping and $5.99 service fees in the help center when you compare prices, and set a price alert on In-Right's /watchlist/ page if you are waiting for a holiday deal.

Straight answers

ReserveBar: questions people ask

Straight answers about ReserveBar, then how this review was written and stays independent.

About ReserveBar

Is ReserveBar legit?

Yes. ReserveBar has sold spirits, wine and Champagne online since 2013, and every order is fulfilled by a licensed retailer in its network, as US alcohol law requires. Its customer record is weak, though: Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 1.7 from 1,244 reviews, 28% of them one-star and mostly about late, missing or cancelled orders, so order gifts early and keep your tracking details.

Which states does ReserveBar ship to?

ReserveBar's retailers cover most of the United States, but it cannot ship alcohol to some states and does not publish a single list. Enter the delivery address on reservebar.com: bottles you can add to the cart can reach that address, and product pages often list the states where they are available. It cannot ship to PO boxes, military bases or outside the US.

Does ReserveBar require an adult signature?

Yes. You must be 21 or older to order, any gift recipient must also be 21 or older, and every delivery must be signed for by an adult 21 or older, who may be asked for photo ID. The carrier will not leave the package unattended, so ReserveBar recommends using a business or office address.

How much does ReserveBar engraving cost?

Custom engraving costs a flat $50 per bottle on eligible bottles, and the engraving collection lists more than 2,000 of them. Engraved orders take up to 10 business days to process before they ship, travel by ground only and cannot be expedited, and the message cannot be changed after you order, so plan engraved gifts two to three weeks ahead.

What is ReserveBar's return policy?

All ReserveBar orders are final sale, and some states do not allow alcohol returns at all. If a wrong, damaged, broken, leaking or spoiled item arrives, report it with photos of the item and outer box within 72 hours of delivery; the retailer replaces it, or offers a refund or substitute when stock is gone. Approved refunds take 3 to 5 business days.

Does ReserveBar ship to Canada, Australia or the UK?

No. ReserveBar operates only within the United States and says it cannot ship to Canada, Europe or any other non-US location, so shoppers in Canada, Australia and the UK cannot use it, either for themselves or to send gifts at home.

About this review

Is this ReserveBar review sponsored?

No. ReserveBar did not pay for this write-up, see it before publication, or have any say in the verdict. If we earn anything it is a commission after you buy, and it comes out of the merchant’s margin rather than your price.

How was the ReserveBar assessed?

By using it and by checking the claims made about it against what it actually does. Where our time with something has been limited, the review says so rather than implying more testing than happened.

What else have you reviewed in Food & Drinks?

Everything in Food & Drinks sits in the review library, where you can filter by budget and sort by rating, price or how recently it landed.

Do you update reviews after publishing?

Yes — when a product changes, when a price moves for good, or when we get something wrong. Corrections are made on the piece itself with a note saying what changed.
