Straight answers

Questions people actually ask

How this site works, how it pays for itself, and what that means for what you read.

How does In-Right make money?

When you click through to a merchant and buy something, we may earn a commission. It comes out of the merchant’s margin, not your price — you pay exactly what you would have paid going direct.

Can a brand pay to be recommended?

No. Not for a placement, not for a score, not for a spot in a roundup. Commission rates play no part in what we recommend or how we rank it, and we will say when a product is worse than a cheaper rival.

Do you actually use the products?

Yes. A review is written after real use, not rewritten from a manufacturer’s page. Where we have only had limited time with something, the review says so rather than pretending otherwise.

How current are the prices and deals?

Prices come from the merchant and can move at any time, so treat the figure here as a guide and the merchant’s page as the truth. Promo codes are checked before they go up, and expired offers come down.

Why do some products have no buy button yet?

Because we have written about them before the merchant partnership is live. Those cards point to a Coming Soon page rather than a dead link, and turn into real buy buttons the moment the link exists.

Do you write the reviews with AI?

Research and drafting tools are used the way any modern newsroom uses them, but every verdict is a human judgement made after using the product, and a human is accountable for it by name.

How do I get something corrected?

Tell us and we will fix it. Corrections are made to the piece itself with a note saying what changed — quietly editing a mistake away is worse than the mistake.

Still unsure about something?Ask us directly — we answer every message.
