How is the job match score worked out?
It finds the hard skills, soft skills and job title in the ad and checks which your resume mentions. The score weights hard skills 60%, job title 25% and soft skills 15%. That is our own weighting, because recruiters mostly search by skills and title. Only add a missing term if it is true for you.
Does a higher score guarantee an interview?
No. It shows whether your resume uses the words the ad uses, which helps with keyword searches in applicant-tracking systems. Clear achievements and honest detail matter just as much.
Is the PDF ATS-friendly?
Yes. Every word is real, selectable text in the standard PDF fonts (Helvetica or Times, the "standard 14" fonts of ISO 32000-1, section 9.6.2.2), in reading order, with no images for key information. In the two-column template the main column is stored first, so applicant-tracking systems read it in the right order.
Is my resume uploaded anywhere?
No. Your resume is saved only in this browser on this device, and the PDF and Word files are made on your device too. Use Save backup to keep a copy or move it to another device.
