How do I calculate gas cost for a trip?
Divide the distance by your car’s MPG to get the gallons used, then multiply by the price per gallon. 300 miles at 28 MPG and $3.50 a gallon is about 10.7 gallons, or $37.50.
Can I use liters and kilometers?
Yes. Choose kilometers, L/100 km or km/L, and a price per liter. US and UK gallons are both supported.
How do I split gas money with friends?
Enter how many people are sharing and tick "Return trip" if you are driving back. The calculator shows the cost per person.
