Amara is a product designer and founder building affordable, beautifully engineered water-filtration hardware for homes across West Africa. She began her journey in a university robotics lab and now leads a small team turning careful engineering into products people love to live with.
She believes good design should feel invisible — the best products simply work, quietly and reliably, so people can get on with their day.

When we started, we obsessed over flow rates and filter life. The turning point came when we watched families actually use the product — and realised the details that mattered most were the ones no spec sheet captured.
