Questions
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent to In-Right or anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the Background colour (white unless you change it).
Will the JPG be smaller than the PNG?
For photos, usually much smaller. For screenshots with large flat areas and sharp text, PNG can be similar in size and sharper, so compare the results before you delete anything.
Which quality should I pick?
Between 80% and 90% looks the same as the original for most images. Tick "Limit file size" if a form needs the file under a set size.
How many images can I do at once?
Guests can process 10 images at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account raises that to 50 images, and In-Right Pro to 500.
