Uses MozJPEG for JPG, OxiPNG for PNG and the slowest WebP and AVIF settings: often 10–30% smaller at the same quality.

Converted files have location and camera data (EXIF) removed.

    How to use it

    1. Drop your JPG or PNG files.
    2. WebP is already selected — pick a quality, or tick Maximum compression.
    3. Download each WebP, or all of them as a ZIP.

    Questions

Are my files uploaded to your servers?

No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent to In-Right or anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.

    How much smaller is WebP?

Google's comparative study found lossy WebP files 25–34% smaller than JPG at equal quality (developers.google.com/speed/webp/docs/webp_study). Results vary by image.

    Do all browsers show WebP?

Yes, all current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari display WebP. If your browser can't create WebP files itself (older Safari), the tool uses its own built-in encoder, so it works everywhere.

Should I use WebP or AVIF?

AVIF is usually smaller still, but takes longer to create and some older apps can't open it. WebP is the safer choice for broad compatibility.

How many images can I do at once?

Guests can process 10 images at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account raises that to 50 images, and In-Right Pro to 500.
