Photos can carry hidden details: the exact GPS location, the date and time, and the phone or camera used. Add photos to see what is inside, then remove it.
JPG, PNG and WebP are cleaned without re-compressing, so quality is untouched. Other formats are re-saved.
How to use it
- Drop your images.
- AVIF is already selected — pick a quality.
- Download each AVIF file, or all of them as a ZIP.
Questions
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent to In-Right or anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
What is AVIF?
AVIF (AV1 Image File Format) is an open, royalty-free format from the Alliance for Open Media. It is often 30–50% smaller than JPG at similar quality, according to tests by Netflix (2020) and Google's web.dev guidance.
Which apps can open AVIF?
All current major browsers display AVIF (Chrome 85+, Firefox 93+, Safari 16+), as do recent versions of Windows and macOS. Some older desktop apps cannot, so keep a JPG if you need to send files to anyone with older software.
Why does AVIF take longer than JPG?
AVIF squeezes harder, and the encoder runs inside your browser rather than on a server. Expect a few seconds for a large photo. The page stays usable while it works.
How many images can I do at once?
Guests can process 10 images at a time, up to 25 MB each. A free account raises that to 50 images, and In-Right Pro to 500.
