Questions
How do I make a PDF smaller to email?
Try Light first: it keeps text selectable. If the file is still too big, Balanced and Strong turn each page into an image at 150 or 100 DPI, which makes scans and photos much smaller, but the text can no longer be selected or searched.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent to In-Right or anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
Is there a file size limit?
Guests can process up to 15 files / 100 MB per task, free accounts 60 files / 300 MB, and Pro 400 files / 1.5 GB. Very large PDFs depend on your device memory.
Can I convert PDF to Word?
PDF ↔ Word, Excel and PowerPoint need a server to convert faithfully, so they are part of In-Right Pro. Everything else here is free.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then use the tool.
