Pros

  • Five Tools on One Subscription: AI video and video maker, logo maker, website builder, mockup generator and graphic design templates sit behind a single login, covering work most small teams spread across four separate services.
  • Reviewed Well Where It Counts: 4.7 out of 5 across 446 reviews on G2 and 4.8 across 407 on Capterra, alongside 3.8 out of 5 from 676 Trustpilot reviews — three independent review bases that agree the product delivers.
  • A Free Tier You Can Actually Use: 720p exports with a watermark, three-minute videos, ten minutes of text-to-speech and five AI image credits at no cost, with Lite at $9 a month, Pro at $19 for unlimited 1080p and commercial rights, and Business at $29 for 4K and team seats.

Cons

  • Subscriptions auto-renew and the terms state plainly that paid fees are non-refundable with no published money-back window, so cancel through My Account, then Subscriptions, then Details before the renewal date rather than after it.
  • Projects and cloud storage are removed once a plan lapses, and the headline $9 and $19 rates are annual-billing prices — worth downloading your finished work before letting a subscription run out.

The Verdict

What sets Renderforest apart is that it is five tools behind one login, and it has been shipping them since 2013: Video maker and AI video generation, logo maker, website builder, mockup generator and graphic design templates all sit inside one subscription, which is the whole argument for the platform: a small business or solo marketer covers in one plan what would otherwise mean four separate services. The company behind it is Renderforest LLC, an Armenian company registered in Yerevan, with a domain registered in March 2013 and native iOS and Android apps alongside the browser tools. The independent record is unusually consistent. G2 gives it 4.7 out of 5 across 446 reviews, Capterra 4.8 across 407, and Trustpilot 3.8 across 676 with 77% at five stars. Three separate review bases agreeing is a stronger signal than any single high score. Plans run a free tier at 720p with a watermark, three-minute videos, ten minutes of text-to-speech, five AI image credits and 500MB of storage; Lite at $9 a month for five watermark-free 720p videos, unlimited duration, 150 AI credits and 10GB; Pro at $19 for unlimited 1080p, commercial-use rights, 300 AI credits, 30GB and the stock library; and Business at $29 covering two sub-users, unlimited 4K, a reseller licence, 600 AI credits and 50GB per seat. The caveat is billing, and it is the one thing to get right before you subscribe. Plans auto-renew at the end of each period, and the terms state that except where the law requires otherwise, paid subscription fees are non-refundable, with exceptions granted at the company's sole discretion and explicitly denied for changing your mind or buying by mistake. There is no published money-back window. The cancellation path is My Account, then Subscriptions, then Details, then Cancel subscription — or through App Store or Google Play settings if you subscribed there — and access runs to the end of the paid period with no refund. Projects and cloud storage are deleted when a plan ends, so export your work first. The 11% one-star band on Trustpilot is dominated by exactly these two themes: cancellation friction and surprise renewals.

Video, Logos, Websites and Mockups in One Place

Renderforest is a browser-based creative platform operated by Renderforest LLC, a company organised under Armenian law with a registered address in Yerevan and an office in Jrvezh. The domain was registered in March 2013 and the site carries a 2013 to 2026 copyright line. The toolset spans template-driven video making and AI video generation, a logo maker, a website builder, a mockup generator and graphic design tools, with native iOS and Android apps alongside the web app. There is no operating-system requirement beyond a browser.

The plan ladder runs five tiers. Free costs nothing and allows 720p exports with a watermark, videos up to three minutes, ten minutes of text-to-speech, five AI image credits, 500MB of storage, low-quality logos and watermarked mockups. Lite at $9 a month adds five watermark-free 720p videos a month, unlimited video duration, 50 minutes of text-to-speech, 150 AI image credits, 10GB of storage, premium templates and vector logos. Pro at $19 a month adds unlimited 1080p, commercial-use rights, 100 minutes of text-to-speech, 300 AI credits, 30GB of storage, a stock library of more than five million footage, music and photo assets, and priority rendering. Business at $29 a month covers two sub-users with unlimited 4K, a reseller licence, 300 minutes of text-to-speech, 600 AI credits, 50GB per seat, team management and a dedicated account manager. Enterprise is quoted individually. The $9 and $19 figures are annual-billing rates; monthly billing costs more.

Billing terms deserve a careful read. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period under the same conditions unless cancelled. Cancellation is handled through My Account, then Subscriptions, then Details, then Cancel subscription, or by turning off automatic renewal in App Store settings or cancelling in Google Play for mobile purchases. On cancellation, access continues to the end of the paid period and fees already paid are not refunded. The refund clause states that except where required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable, with case-by-case exceptions at the company's sole discretion; refunds are explicitly denied where the customer changed their mind, bought by mistake, lacks the expertise to use the product or no longer needs it. No money-back window is published. Support runs through a Freshdesk help centre and email.

On independent signal, Renderforest is one of the better-evidenced products in its category: 4.7 out of 5 across 446 reviews on G2, 4.8 across 407 verified reviews on Capterra, and 3.8 across 676 Trustpilot reviews, of which 77% are five-star and 11% one-star. The negative band is dominated by billing rather than quality — difficulty cancelling, unexpected recurring charges and refused refunds — alongside complaints about slower rendering and pricing pages being read as misleading. Cloud storage and saved projects are removed when a subscription ends, which is the single most commonly reported surprise, so export finished work before a plan lapses.

About this review

How this was written, who paid for what, and how the verdict stays independent.

Is this Renderforest review sponsored?

No. Renderforest did not pay for this write-up, see it before publication, or have any say in the verdict. If we earn anything it is a commission after you buy, and it comes out of the merchant’s margin rather than your price.

How was the Renderforest assessed?

By using it and by checking the claims made about it against what it actually does. Where our time with something has been limited, the review says so rather than implying more testing than happened.

What else have you reviewed in Software & Utilities?

Everything in Software & Utilities sits in the review library, where you can filter by budget and sort by rating, price or how recently it landed.

Do you update reviews after publishing?

Yes — when a product changes, when a price moves for good, or when we get something wrong. Corrections are made on the piece itself with a note saying what changed.
