Pros
- A Mill-Backed Range From One Yard: About 7,000 listings run from French terry and cotton jersey to suiting, lace, linen and silk, most showing fiber blend, gsm and width, and a $0.99 swatch card lets you feel one first.
- Prices Fall as Yardage Grows: KF1195 cotton-spandex French terry drops from $25.99 to $18.19 a yard at 35 yards in checkout, and the shipping policy says no import duties or taxes are due on delivery.
- One Rate Across Four Markets: Our checkout test quoted $16.88 duty-paid standard shipping for one yard to the US, Canada, Australia and the UK, and free shipping on orders over $199.
Cons
- Returns are open for 15 days and only for fabric that is unused, unwashed and uncut, you pay the postage back to Foshan, China, and damage claims close 7 days after delivery, so order swatches first and check every yard as soon as it arrives.
- The independent record is still thin at two Trustpilot reviews, and the site shows no certificate numbers for its OEKO-TEX and ISO claims, so start with a modest order and ask support for the certificate if you sew for babies or need it for your own label.
The Verdict
What sets Global Fabric Wholesale apart is that a Foshan textile group sells its yardage straight to home sewists and small brands, one yard at a time and with import duties already paid: The store is run by Runtang Textile Co., Ltd. from the same Zhangcha, Foshan address as the Runtang knit mill, whose own site describes a 60,000-square-meter plant with more than 400 machines, and its Hong Kong company took the Global Fabric Wholesale name in December 2025. The store's feed lists about 7,000 fabrics, roughly 2,500 knits and 4,400 wovens led by polyester, viscose and cotton, and most listings state fiber blend, gsm and width, such as the 185 cm-wide KF1195 French terry in 95% cotton and 5% spandex. There is no minimum beyond one yard, a $0.99 swatch card lets you feel a fabric first, and about 135 bases can be custom printed in 3 to 4 business days. Prices are per yard in US dollars, and about nine in ten listings sit between $15 and $50. KF620 cotton-polyester French terry and 2413# cotton jersey are $19.99, MS9037 cotton eyelet $17.99 and 8213 silk shantung $175.99. Volume tiers apply automatically and vary by fabric: KF1195 falls from $25.99 to $24.69 at 11 yards and $18.19 at 35, and 2413# reaches $13.99 past 52 yards. No listing carried a sale or former price on 26 October. Orders leave China in 1 to 3 business days, Delivered Duty Paid; our checkout test quoted $16.88 standard shipping (9 to 16 business days) for one yard to the US, Canada, Australia and the UK, FedEx options from $30.20, and free shipping (12 to 18 business days) over $199. The reservations are real. Returns last 15 days for unused, unwashed and uncut fabric only, you pay postage to China, outbound shipping is not refunded, and swatches and custom prints are final, while support answers on weekdays, Beijing time. The record is two five-star Trustpilot reviews, the OEKO-TEX claim carries no certificate number on the site, and a few listings contradict themselves, like a suiting blend that adds up to 110%. Buy $0.99 swatches, compare fabrics by gsm, start with a modest order and inspect every yard within the 7-day claim window.

Its Hong Kong company, registered in 2023 as Runtang Textile Group Limited, took the Global Fabric Wholesale name in December 2025, and the store's domain dates from December 2023. The catalogue holds about 7,000 listings, roughly 2,500 knits and 4,400 wovens, from French terry and jersey to suiting, lace, linen, silk and printable bases for custom designs.
Prices are per yard in US dollars, and about nine in ten listings sit between $15 and $50. Orders are cut and packed in 1 to 3 business days and ship from China Delivered Duty Paid, and the shipping policy says customers pay no additional duties or import taxes on delivery. Damage or wrong-item claims need photos within 7 days, and approved refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days. The independent record is thin: Trustpilot shows a 3.8 TrustScore from two five-star reviews, and we found no Reddit, Sitejabber or BBB record, nor any certificate number behind the site's OEKO-TEX and ISO claims.
Global Fabric Wholesale: what to know before you buy
Global Fabric Wholesale sells about 7,000 fabrics by the yard from Foshan, China, shipped duty-paid to the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. Here is what it costs, how returns work and how to choose well.
Shipping, returns & warranty
Orders are cut, packed and dispatched from China in 1 to 3 business days, Delivered Duty Paid. The shipping policy says customers will not be required to pay additional duties or import taxes on delivery, and asks you to contact the store before paying any charge a courier requests. On 26 October 2026 the checkout quoted $16.88 standard shipping (9 to 16 business days) for one yard to the US, Canada, Australia and the UK, faster FedEx options from $30.20, and free standard shipping (12 to 18 business days) on orders over $199.
Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery for fabric that is unused, unwashed, uncut and unaltered, with proof of purchase, through the returns portal or by email. You pay the postage back to Foshan, original shipping is not refunded, and on free-shipping orders the actual shipping cost may be deducted from the refund. Swatches, sample cuts and custom-made items are final, and the support FAQ adds that cut-to-order items may not be eligible, so ask before sending yardage back.
Defects follow a separate 7-day window: report damage, a defect or a wrong item with photos and your order number before cutting or washing anything. Small specks and slight weaving irregularities count as normal tolerance. The support page promises fabric free from defects in material and workmanship at delivery, settled by replacement or refund, and approved refunds reach the original payment method within 14 days.
Global Fabric Wholesale product lines
The store's feed lists about 7,000 fabrics, roughly 2,500 knits and 4,400 wovens. Polyester appears in about 4,900 listings, viscose in 2,600 and cotton in 2,300, with smaller runs of nylon, wool, Tencel lyocell, linen and 34 silk listings.
Knits are the Runtang group's specialty: French terry for hoodies and sweatshirts (KF620, 230gsm, 60% cotton and 40% polyester, $19.99 a yard; MQ43009-370g, 100% cotton, $25.99), single jersey such as 2413# (220gsm, 100% cotton, 185 cm wide, $19.99), plus rib, interlock, scuba and fleece. Wovens include suiting, plaid, gingham, damask, and canvas and burlap for home projects, cotton eyelet such as MS9037 (135 cm, $17.99) and silk shantung up to $175.99 a yard. Chantilly lace starts at $4.99 a yard, but those laces are about 21 cm wide.
Custom printing runs on about 135 printable bases, with production in 3 to 4 business days and optional hemming, and a $28.99 pack of pre-printed swatches lets you check colors first. Custom-made orders cannot be returned.
How to choose fabric here
Start with the spec block on each listing: composition, gsm and width. Compare weights by gsm, because the ounce figure in titles is the gsm converted per square meter (320gsm shows as 11.3 oz), which reads heavier than the per-square-yard ounces most US shops quote. Check width too, since knits such as KF1195 come 185 cm wide while some laces are only 21 cm.
Order a $0.99 swatch card before committing to yardage. Its color is picked at random from the same quality, so use it to judge hand feel, stretch, weight and how it washes, then choose the shade from the photos. Listings are not always consistent: one suiting listing's blend adds up to 110%, and KF620's web address reverses its 60/40 cotton-polyester blend, so ask support whenever two numbers disagree.
If you need certified fabric for babywear or your own label, ask for the OEKO-TEX certificate number and check it on OEKO-TEX's Label Check, because the site states the certification without publishing numbers.
Deals & pricing
Prices are per yard in US dollars, with import duties and taxes included. About nine in ten listings sit between $15 and $50 a yard, and the cheapest lines, under $10, are lace trims and lightweight leno fabrics.
The main saving is volume pricing, applied automatically at checkout and set per fabric. KF1195 French terry is $25.99 a yard, $24.69 from 11 yards and $18.19 at 35 yards; 2413# cotton jersey falls from $19.99 to $13.99 past 52 yards. The store says orders above 300 kg get quoted prices.
On 26 October 2026 no listing carried a sale price or a former price, and we found no current coupon to pass on. Free shipping starts above $199, so combining fabrics into one order can pay for itself. To hear about price moves on the brands we cover before Black Friday on 27 November, set an alert on /watchlist/.

Global Fabric Wholesale: questions people ask
Straight answers about Global Fabric Wholesale, then how this review was written and stays independent.
Is Global Fabric Wholesale legit?
Yes, it appears to be a genuine store. It is run by Runtang Textile Co., Ltd. of Foshan, China, its terms, return address and the Runtang knit mill share one Foshan address, and its Hong Kong company carries the Global Fabric Wholesale name. You pay by card or PayPal. The record is still thin, with two five-star Trustpilot reviews (TrustScore 3.8) and no Reddit or BBB history we could find, so a swatch or a small first order is sensible.
Does Global Fabric Wholesale ship to the US, Canada, Australia and the UK?
Yes. All four are served from China, Delivered Duty Paid, and the shipping policy says no duties or import taxes are due on delivery. On 26 October 2026 its checkout quoted $16.88 standard shipping (9 to 16 business days) for one yard to each country, FedEx options from $30.20, and free shipping (12 to 18 business days) on orders over $199. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days.
What is the Global Fabric Wholesale return policy?
You can request a return within 15 days of receiving your order if the fabric is unused, unwashed, uncut and unaltered. You pay the postage back to Foshan, China, original shipping is not refunded, and swatches and custom-made items cannot be returned. Report damage or a wrong item within 7 days with photos and your order number; approved refunds go to your original payment method within 14 days.
Is there a minimum order at Global Fabric Wholesale?
No. You can buy a single yard, and prices drop automatically as yardage rises, by up to 30%. Tiers vary by fabric: KF1195 French terry is $25.99 a yard, $24.69 from 11 yards and $18.19 at 35 yards in checkout, while 2413# cotton jersey reaches $13.99 past 52 yards. The store says orders above 300 kg move to quoted pricing.
Does Global Fabric Wholesale offer free samples?
Banners say free samples, but product pages price a swatch card at $0.99. It is about 4 by 4 inches and its color is picked at random from the same fabric quality, so it shows hand feel and weight rather than an exact shade. For custom printing, a pack of pre-printed 4 by 4 inch swatches on 160-plus bases costs $28.99. Swatches cannot be returned.
Are Global Fabric Wholesale fabrics OEKO-TEX certified?
The homepage says all materials are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, but we found no certificate number on the site, and the Runtang mill's own site says only that certified options are available. If certification matters, for babywear for example, ask support for the certificate number and check it on OEKO-TEX's Label Check before you order.
Is this Global Fabric Wholesale review sponsored?
No. Global Fabric Wholesale did not pay for this write-up, see it before publication, or have any say in the verdict. If we earn anything it is a commission after you buy, and it comes out of the merchant’s margin rather than your price.
How was the Global Fabric Wholesale assessed?
By using it and by checking the claims made about it against what it actually does. Where our time with something has been limited, the review says so rather than implying more testing than happened.
What else have you reviewed in Media & Entertainment?
Everything in Media & Entertainment sits in the review library, where you can filter by budget and sort by rating, price or how recently it landed.

Yes — when a product changes, when a price moves for good, or when we get something wrong. Corrections are made on the piece itself with a note saying what changed.
