Pros
- Six Destination Stores, One Company: ESIMJAPAN.com, ESIMKOREA.net, ESIMTHAILAND.com, ESIMSINGAPORE.net, ESIMUSA.com and EUROPEESIM.com all belong to ESIMWORLD.net, run by HARRIE Inc. in Seoul, with 24/7 email and WhatsApp support.

- Low Entry Prices: Singapore day passes start at $2.99, US fixed data at $3.99 for 1GB, Thailand gives 50GB-plus over 10 days for $9.99 and Europe runs from $4.99 for 1GB across 42 countries.
Cons
- Each destination is a separate store with its own checkout and start rules, and Thailand's plans and Singapore's daily and unlimited plans start counting when the eSIM is installed, so buy from the store for your trip and install those no earlier than the day before you fly.
- Refunds cover only eSIMs that were never scanned or activated, within 6 months of purchase or 3 months in Japan, and independent reviews are thin, with Thailand's single Trustpilot review a one-star refund complaint, so confirm your phone is unlocked and eSIM-ready before you pay.
The Verdict
What sets ESIMWORLD apart is a separate store for each destination, each built around a local network and, in Korea, Thailand and the USA, a local phone number: Most travel eSIM sellers run one global catalogue. ESIMWORLD.net, run by HARRIE Inc. of Seoul, splits its range into destination stores instead, and this page covers six of them. ESIMJAPAN.com runs on KDDI's au network, ESIMKOREA.net on SKT with LG U+ for 5G Unlimited Max, ESIMTHAILAND.com, the group's first store, on True, ESIMSINGAPORE.net on Singtel and ESIMUSA.com on T-Mobile, while EUROPEESIM.com covers 42 European countries on one eSIM. The Korea unlimited plan adds a Korean 010 number after passport verification, Thailand's Unlimited with Calls adds a Thai number and the USA calls plan a +1 number. ESIMUSA.com is built for visitors to the United States, so it suits Canadian, Australian and UK readers heading there rather than US residents. Prices are in US dollars, and every plan includes free hotspot. Japan's fixed data starts at $6.99 for 3GB over 7 days and 5G Unlimited Max at $11.99 for 3 days. Korea's SKT unlimited plan runs from $3.99 for a day to $84.99 for 90 days. Thailand gives 50GB-plus over 10 days for $9.99. Singapore day passes start at $2.99, with 3GB over 7 days at $6.99. In the US, the calls plan costs $27.99 for 7 days and fixed data $3.99 for 1GB. Europe's Fixed Data runs from $4.99 for 1GB to $49.99 for 30GB, with unlimited plans from $5.99. QR codes arrive by email, and we checked these prices on 26 and 27 October 2026. Read each store's rules before you pay. Thailand's plans, and Singapore's daily and unlimited plans, start when you install the eSIM. Korean calls need passport registration, the USA calls plan needs your phone's EID and IMEI2 and an activation date at least 2 days ahead, and Japan's cheaper 4G unlimited plans slow to 384kbps after the daily allowance. Most prices sit beside a crossed-out figure about a third higher, a standing discount. Refunds cover eSIMs never scanned or activated within 6 months, 3 in Japan, and independent reviews are thin. Check that your phone is unlocked, then buy from the store for your destination.
Prepaid Travel eSIMs for Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, the USA and Europe
ESIMWORLD.net is a group of destination eSIM stores run by HARRIE Inc., a Seoul company at 49 Dongmak-ro 8-gil, Mapo-gu, with Korean business registration 623-86-00369; every store's footer carries the ESIMWORLD.net name and support uses the shared [email protected] address. This page covers six of its stores: ESIMJAPAN.com for Japan, ESIMKOREA.net for South Korea, ESIMTHAILAND.com for Thailand, ESIMSINGAPORE.net for Singapore, ESIMUSA.com for visitors to the United States and EUROPEESIM.com for 42 European countries.
In Japan, fixed data costs $6.99 for 3GB over 7 days up to $59.99 for 50GB over 30 days, 4G Unlimited Basic starts at $4.99 for 3 days and 5G Unlimited Max runs from $11.99 for 3 days to $79.99 for 31. In Korea, the SKT unlimited plan costs $3.99 for a single day up to $84.99 for 90 days. In Thailand, 50GB-plus over 10 days costs $9.99 and Unlimited with Calls starts at $12.99 for 8 days. In Singapore, a 1GB day pass costs $2.99, 3GB over 7 days $6.99 and unlimited data $7.99 a day. In the US, fixed data starts at $3.99 for 1GB over 7 days and Unlimited Data & Calls at $25.99 for 5 days. In Europe, Fixed Data runs from $4.99 for 1GB to $49.99 for 30GB and unlimited plans start at $5.99.
Japan's plans run on KDDI's au network, Korea's on SKT (LG U+ for 5G Unlimited Max), Thailand's on True, Singapore's on Singtel and the USA's on T-Mobile, while Europe's roam onto partner networks such as Vodafone and O2 in Germany. Most plans start when you first connect at your destination and stay valid for 180 days, but Thailand's plans and Singapore's daily and unlimited plans start when the eSIM is installed. The Korean 010 number needs passport verification, Thailand needs real-name registration, and the USA calls plan needs your EID and IMEI2 and goes live at 6:00 a.m. Pacific on the date you choose. Every plan includes free hotspot.
Refunds go to the original payment method within up to 30 business days, for eSIMs never scanned or activated and requested within 6 months of purchase, 3 months at ESIMJAPAN.com, or for faults reported to support during the trip. Support runs 24/7 by email and WhatsApp, and removing an installed eSIM deletes it for good, so contact support before deleting anything. Each store's own reviews average about 4.4 to 4.9 out of 5, but independent reviews are thin: the Japan and USA stores have no Trustpilot reviews, the Korea, Singapore and Europe stores have no profile, and the Thailand store's single review is a one-star refund complaint.
ESIMWORLD: what to know before you buy
A quick guide to ESIMWORLD's six travel eSIM stores, for Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, the USA and Europe: which store suits your trip, what plans cost, how local numbers and activation work, and how refunds are handled.
Which store for which trip
ESIMWORLD.net runs a separate store for each destination. For Japan, use ESIMJAPAN.com: plans on KDDI's au network, plus city plans and Japan-Korea or East Asia plans. For South Korea, use ESIMKOREA.net: plans on SKT, with LG U+ for 5G Unlimited Max, and city plans for Seoul, Busan, Jeju and Incheon. For Thailand, use ESIMTHAILAND.com: plans on True, including a Bangkok plan.
For Singapore, use ESIMSINGAPORE.net: plans on Singtel, sized for stopovers, plus regional plans with Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia or the Philippines. For a visit to the United States, use ESIMUSA.com: plans on T-Mobile, city plans and USA-Canada or USA-Mexico plans; it is built for visitors, not US residents. For Europe, use EUROPEESIM.com: one eSIM for 42 countries (52 on the calls plan), plus single-country plans.
Plans and prices
Japan: fixed data from $6.99 for 3GB over 7 days to $59.99 for 50GB over 30 days; 4G Unlimited Basic (1GB a day at full speed) from $4.99 for 3 days; 5G Unlimited Max from $11.99 for 3 days to $79.99 for 31.
South Korea: the SKT unlimited plan from $3.99 for one data-only day to $84.99 for 90 days; plans of 3 days or more add a free T-money transit card and 5 minutes of calls.
Thailand: 50GB-plus over 10 days for $9.99, Unlimited with Calls from $12.99 for 8 days, Daily 2GB at $3.99 a day.
Singapore: a 1GB day pass for $2.99, fixed data from $6.99 for 3GB over 7 days to $13.99 for 10GB over 20 days, unlimited from $7.99 a day.
USA: fixed data from $3.99 for 1GB over 7 days; Unlimited Data & Calls with a +1 number $25.99 for 5 days, $27.99 for 7 and $59.99 for 30; USA & Canada unlimited from $12.99 for 7 days.
Europe: Fixed Data from $4.99 for 1GB to $49.99 for 30GB; unlimited from $5.99; 20GB with a French number $29.99 for 15 days.
Most plans sit beside a crossed-out price about a third higher, a standing discount, so compare what you pay. Price alerts on /watchlist/ can tell you about real drops.
Phone numbers, activation and setup
Your phone must be unlocked and eSIM-capable. In Korea, the 010 number needs passport verification, only one eSIM per passport can carry a number, and outgoing calls need a paid top-up. In Thailand, real-name registration with your passport is done from the link in the voucher email, and the plan starts when the eSIM is installed.
In Singapore, fixed plans start when you connect there, but daily and unlimited plans start when the eSIM is installed. In Japan, the cheaper 4G unlimited plans slow to 384kbps after the daily allowance, while 5G Unlimited Max has no stated daily cap. For the USA calls plan, enter your phone's EID and IMEI2 at checkout and pick an activation date at least 2 days ahead; the line goes live at 6:00 a.m. Pacific and does not work in Guam or Saipan.
In Europe, plans roam onto a partner network in each country, so save the store's Network & APN page before you travel. Never remove an installed eSIM: it cannot be added back.
Refunds, support and reviews
Five of the stores refund eSIMs never scanned or activated within 6 months of purchase; ESIMJAPAN.com allows 3 months. All six also refund faults you report to support during your trip, back to the original payment method within up to 30 business days.
Support runs 24/7 by email and WhatsApp. Each store's own reviews average about 4.4 to 4.9 out of 5. On Trustpilot, the Japan and USA stores have no reviews, the Korea, Singapore and Europe stores have no profile, and the Thailand store has one one-star review about a refund. Travel eSIM Expert's US comparison lists ESIMUSA.com at 534 Mbps, the fastest in its table.

ESIMWORLD: questions people ask
Straight answers about ESIMWORLD, then how this review was written and stays independent.
Is ESIMWORLD legit?
Yes. ESIMWORLD.net is run by HARRIE Inc., a company registered in Seoul, and its six destination stores use named local networks: KDDI's au in Japan, SKT in Korea, True in Thailand, Singtel in Singapore, T-Mobile in the US and partners such as Vodafone in Europe. Each store's own reviews average about 4.4 to 4.9 out of 5, though independent reviews are thin, and the Thailand store's single Trustpilot review is a one-star refund complaint.
Which ESIMWORLD store should I buy from?
The one for your destination: ESIMJAPAN.com for Japan, ESIMKOREA.net for South Korea, ESIMTHAILAND.com for Thailand, ESIMSINGAPORE.net for Singapore, ESIMUSA.com for visits to the United States and EUROPEESIM.com for trips across 42 European countries (52 on the calls plan). Each store has its own checkout and plans, and several sell regional plans, such as Japan-Korea or Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand.
Is ESIMUSA.com for US residents?
No. ESIMUSA.com sells eSIMs for people visiting the United States, so it suits Canadian, Australian and UK travelers heading there. Its Unlimited Data & Calls plan adds a T-Mobile +1 number from $25.99 for 5 days. US residents traveling abroad should buy from the store for their destination instead, such as EUROPEESIM.com or ESIMJAPAN.com.
Do ESIMWORLD eSIMs come with a phone number?
Some do. The Korea unlimited plan adds a Korean 010 number after passport verification, with outgoing calls on a paid top-up; Thailand's Unlimited with Calls plan adds a Thai number; the USA Unlimited Data & Calls plan adds a T-Mobile +1 number; and Europe's Fixed Data & Calls plan adds a French number. The Japan and Singapore plans we cover are data-only.
What is ESIMWORLD's refund policy?
Refunds cover eSIMs that were never scanned or activated, requested within 6 months of purchase, or within 3 months at ESIMJAPAN.com, plus service faults you report to support during your trip. They go back to the original payment method within up to 30 business days. Removing an installed eSIM deletes it, so contact support first.
When does an ESIMWORLD plan start?
It depends on the store. Japan, Korea, Europe and Singapore's fixed plans start when you first connect at your destination, but Thailand's plans and Singapore's daily and unlimited plans start as soon as the eSIM is installed, so install those no earlier than the day before you fly. The USA calls plan goes live at 6:00 a.m. Pacific on the date you pick at checkout.
Is this ESIMWORLD review sponsored?
No. ESIMWORLD did not pay for this write-up, see it before publication, or have any say in the verdict. If we earn anything it is a commission after you buy, and it comes out of the merchant’s margin rather than your price.
How was the ESIMWORLD assessed?
By using it and by checking the claims made about it against what it actually does. Where our time with something has been limited, the review says so rather than implying more testing than happened.
What else have you reviewed in Software & Utilities?
Everything in Software & Utilities sits in the review library, where you can filter by budget and sort by rating, price or how recently it landed.
Do you update reviews after publishing?
Yes — when a product changes, when a price moves for good, or when we get something wrong. Corrections are made on the piece itself with a note saying what changed.
